Eight Words Define Eight Bush Years

On public radio’s The Takeaway, they asked listeners to come up with a statement, in eight words or less, of the eight Bush years. I had to go in the store so I don’t know if they used mine, but it was:

Unbridled greed, self-indulgence and self-righteous sanctimony run amok.
